Anchor of the Unseen Hope

Hebrews 11:1

Hebrews 11:1 tells us, "Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen." In our daily lives as women, we are often overwhelmed by the visible evidence of our struggles—the mounting bills, the wearying relationships, or the uncertainty of the future. It is easy to feel as though we must hold tight to what we can touch and control, but God invites us to release our grip on the visible so that we might grasp the eternal reality of His character.

Holding on to faith does not mean we ignore the reality of our pain; rather, it means we acknowledge that our pain does not have the final say. When you feel your grip slipping, remember that it is not your strength holding onto God, but His unwavering faithfulness holding onto you. Faith is the quiet, persistent choice to trust that His unseen work is more substantial than the seen obstacles standing in your way.

Take a moment today to breathe deeply and release the tension you are carrying in your shoulders. Sit in the stillness and tell the Lord exactly where your heart is wavering. You do not need to muster up a grand display of confidence; you simply need to offer Him your honesty. As you do, allow His promise to become your new resting place, knowing that the God who spoke the world into existence is actively weaving beauty into the unseen parts of your life.
