When You Feel Invisible
Genesis 16:13
The God Who Sees Me
Hagar is one of the most overlooked figures in the early narrative of scripture. Used, then dismissed. And it is she who gives God one of his most intimate names: El Roi — the God who sees me.
She did not say this from a place of blessing and abundance. She said it from the wilderness, alone, cast out. And God had found her there.
Seen in the Wilderness
If you feel unseen today — by your community, by those who should notice, by the world that moves past you — hear this: there is a God whose name is the God who sees.
He saw Hagar in the wilderness. He sees you in yours. You are not invisible to the one who matters most.
