Community Is Not Optional

Hebrews 10:24-25

Community Is Not Optional

I was reminded this week how much I need people. A conversation with a trusted friend unlocked something in me that hours of solo reflection had not touched. She asked the right question at the right moment, and something I had been carrying alone for months was suddenly lighter.

Hebrews 10:24-25 says not to neglect gathering together — not as a rule to follow, but as a recognition that we need each other. Iron sharpens iron. We see blind spots in each other. We carry what the other cannot.

The isolated life is not the full life. I need community — real, honest, faithful community. And I think community needs me too.
